  • New work for NSMC in Jordan

    The NSMC has just been awarded a major contract to develop and deliver a social marketing capacity building programme in Jordan with ECODIT.  The NSMC will be helping to implement the Jordan Public Action for Water, Energy and Environment Project under a contract with the United States Agency for International Development (PAP).  The project is a public education and behaviour change communication programme that will lead to increased efficiency in the use of water and energy in Jordan.

  • NSMC Launches Health Equity Facebook Page

    The NSMC is working with The Department of Health (England) and The Institute of Health Equity (UCL) to identify and showcase ways in which social marketing can be used to address the social determinants of health inequalities (SDH).

  • The Marketer article on The NSMC Behaviour Change and CSR Conference

    'The Marketer', the magazine for Chartered Institute of Marketing members, published an article earlier this week on The NSMC's recent Behaviour Change and Corporate Social Responsibility Conference. 

    The article used case studies from the conference to look at the increasing number of commercial organisations who use social marketing as part of their corporate social responsibilty programmes.

  • Conference Hailed As A Success

    Last week's Behaviour Change and Corporate Social Responsibility Academy and Conference has been acclaimed as a success by those who attended.

    The aim of the Conference was to explore how CSR programmes could be made more effective.   

    The event drew a diverse range of participants from the private and public sectors who were all keen to learn more about the ways in which CSR programmes could achieve their social objectives while realising improved returns on investment.

The first cohort of students in our Social Marketing training programme in Jordan graduate

Following six months hard work, the participants on our first Intensive Social Marketing Training Programme graduated in front of the Head of USAID Mission in Amman, Beth Paige.  The students on the course who have all developed plans on their own social marketing projects will now apply to USAID for funds to implement these projects over the next 12 months.  The projects vary from a student led anti-litter campaign to a programme that will persuade investors to fit water saving devices in all of their new residential developments.  The next cohort will be
