We have just completed a "Train to Deliver" social marketing course for the Jordanian Royal Rangers in Amman.  The Royal Rangers are responsible for protecting Jordan's natural environment and resources.  We have been working with them specifically to develop behaviour change programmes to stop pollution and the theft of Jordan's precious water supplies.

Many of Jordan's natural springs often suffer pollution from a number of sources including chemical fertilizers, waste agricultural products and discarded animals.  The new social marketing programmes developed during the course will engage with local communities and framers to ensure that they help protect these vital sources of clean drinking water.  The programmes will begin in early 2019 with two pilots taking place in Amman and Jeresh. If these are successful, we will expand the programme across the Kingdom to another seven sites.
